OCTOBER 2025

FAITH GOAL ACHIEVED

As most of you know, Deborah had “the most invasive surgery that a body can endure,” according to the surgeons. They built a titanium scaffold around her spine and then fused the bones solidly. Consequently, Debbie responded with her own aggressive plan of recovery. She exercised daily for six months without missing a day. She learned to navigate showers, stairs, and streets. We walked our block daily to strengthen her muscles and steady her balance. She even learned to drive again because Larry cannot. Why the hard push? Because doctors said it would take a year to recover. Debbie said half of that is possible. She set it as her goal to go to Turkey, Finland, and Estonia in October for our mission trip. Today is the 16th, and the surgeon released her yesterday for the whole travel itinerary. Praise the Lord our God! We depart on Oct. 31st.

Our primary concern is the long hours spent on the plane. Your prayers are essential. Thank you for all your intercession the last 6 months. God has proven to be better than we imagined. Her faith goal is achieved. Her testimony is, “Perseverance is the difference between failure and success when Jesus is allowed to rule your thoughts as Lord!”

A topic for another newsletter: Larry’s latest book was published this week: “Rescued from Satan’s Storms.”
Thank you to everyone who supported our work during Deborah’s surgery months. We are so grateful for your generosity and faithfulness. God is deciding how to bless you.
